Sept 22, HKFS started a student strike for democracy. In the afternoon of Sept 28, CGO was blocked from protestors.They took the three lanes of Queensway, and the police tried reclaiming the road by shooting 87 tear gas bombs to the crowd of peaceful protestors. On the same night, other protestors occupied major roads in Causeway Bay and Mong Kok.

【民陣就警方拘捕七一遊行工作人員新聞稿】 4 July 2014 at 09:56 民陣成員陳倩瑩因參與七一遊行的組織工作被捕,現正在長沙灣警署,將移送灣仔警署。據悉,其他曾於七一當日在領頭車上工作的人士亦會被捕,包括民陣召集人楊政賢,大會兩名司儀陳小萍,洪曉嫻,以及領頭車的司機岑永根。由於民陣暫時未能與當事人接觸,各人被拘捕的具體罪名不詳,但相信與警方指民陣七一遊行隊伍領頭車行駛速度過慢的事情有關。
